Taco

We watched a Chihuahua this week. I wish I had taken a picture of the dog when it got here because I can't be sure those black circles under its eyes were there before. Our lovable Delphy just wanted to play but she is at least twenty times bigger than Taco and she ended up mauling the poor little guy, so one dog had to be in its kennel at all times. When Taco did get out Harper and Margo mauled it with love. I hope we didn't permanently damage this dog.

Not to be outdone, wooden Taco by Margo.

Trick-or-Treat

We waited in line for over half an hour with the rest of Moorhead for a lame pizza on Halloween and this is the only picture I have of my kids because of that wrong choice.

Carving

We carved pumpkins with our friend Dennis.

Crimping

Lucky for us again, my mom brought the old crimping iron that Halle and I used every day before school from 1987-1989. Harper and Margo got their hair done in the dark before school on Grandma's last morning with us.

Jewel

Margo said she wanted to be a cat for Halloween but then changed her mind and wanted to be a princess (but a different princess than last year) and then changed her mind and decided to be Jewel, the blue macaw from the movie "Rio." Lucky for us my mom was in town for the costume change and she figured out how to make a bird costume for Margo. Amazing.
